Curious by Britney Spears Review
This perfume became a hit since its release in 2004. Aside of it being by Britney Spears' , I have to say that as a celebrity this perfume, this fragrance doesn't disappoint.
According to Fragantica:
'The composition is based on the notes of white flowers surrounded with vanilla and musk nuances. It opens with fresh lotus, mouthwatering pear and magnolia. The intensive floral heart is composed of tuberose, jasmine and pink cyclamen. The sensual base is composed of musk, vanilla and precious woods'
Curious is a girly, fruity-sweet, fun, fresh, clean, happy and a young smelling scent. It has a fruity-floral sweetness (no citrus) to it which is quite nice and throughout wearing it, it's not cloying. To my nose, the noticeable notes are jasmine and pear. And as it tones down the vanilla, musk and woody notes starts to settle in. As far as I can say, it's got this 'typical celebrity scent' (I don't know but I guess celebs are into sweet scents), but hey! it's pretty and it's nice. As long as you put the right amount of the juice of course. Curious is a well balanced fragrance, it doesn't get too sweet or too musky, even overtime it stays just right.
If you're looking for a clean slightly sweet fragrance but don't want to smell like a walking lollipop, this might be something for you. Remember, to love (or hate) a perfume is to do it with time. When you test a perfume, I recommend to let the fragrance sit on your skin for at least an hour, so that you'll know how the scent develops with your body chemistry and how it evaporates over time (to know whether the perfume is long lasting)
Happy sniffing!
