The Power of YouTube
It's 2010! I mean, hey! who in the world doesn't watch YouTube? :D Sometimes I like it even better than TV! haha! :D why YouTube offers so much. Entertainment, education, reviews, tips, music, everything! And the best thing is that you can find almost everything in it and you won't get tired of it. There's always something new, something fun, something inspiring from the people around the world. Who said being a celebrity is hard? YouTube has proven that you don't have to be a movie star or a politician to be famous. You just have to be yourself and show the world what you got :)
Take Justin Bieber, Greyson Chance! They started their career from YouTube! And you probably know these: Charlie McDonnell 'charlieissocoollike', Dave Days 'davedays', Shane Dawson 'shanedawsontv', Elle Fowler 'allthatglitters21', Kandee Johnson 'kandeejohnson' (Those are my favourite channels on youtube :D). Who of them even thought that they'd gonna be international stars? You don't see them on TV but on the internet, just WOW!
My Top favourite YouTubers are (drumrolls!!!)
Charlie McDonnell 'charlieissocoollike' and Kandee Johnson 'kandeejohnson' (make sure you check out her blog!) What I love about them is that it's not like you've just seen another video and go like 'oh yeah, nice (bored tone)'. It makes you feel better and opens your mind! So they're not just making a video to entertain you but also to give you something else. Get it? :s
Charlie is just another British 'teenager' (he'll be 20 this year). He's so much fun to watch, creative, he's funny without trying to be and hilarious without being offensive and very impotant! He is himself! He's not ashamed of who he is, he called himself a nerd. But see what this nerd's got! Through his YouTube popularity he helps organizations raise funds, like for cancer and children in need (see ChartJackers- I've got nothing). His videos just makes my day! He's #1 most subscribed YouTuber in the UK! The other thing I like about YouTube is that you get to know people's point of views. And Charlie here, he's very open and honest in giving his opinions and very down to earth. He said that he didn't make YouTube videos to be famous, he's just doing what he loved to do and fame, was just a prize that came it. So that's what I really like about Charlie. Oh yeah, I like his accent! haha :D
Kandee Johnson is a make-up artist. Well, her YouTube videos are mostly about make-up and beauty. Her channel's fun to watch and she's funny too :) But if you go to her blog, you'll see the REAL Kandee. She's an angel. She has such a big heart. She encourages others to reach their dreams. She touches people's hearts. Making them feel better. That it's always gonna be okay. There's always a way out. And that if you feel your world's over it might just be the beginning of a happy start. NEVER hold back on what you think is good for you and for others. So if you feel like you have something awesome of yourself to show the world. The internet might be a great solution. :)
