Anxiety

Hello fellas, I hope everyone is doing well and is extra happy! And if your not, everything's gonna be okay, it's not the end of the world, if it's not okay, it's not the end and you will be back on track on happy-land boulevard soon :) So keep reading because what I'm about to discuss might hopefully give you some insights and help at least one of you reading this and lift you up a little.



So today's post is going to be a little more serious than what I usually write. I'm going to talk about a psychological state which is anxiety. So what it exactly? Anxiety is an unpleasant feeling ranging from worrying, fear, nervousness , panic, etc. Sometimes it even gets physical showing symptoms of sweating, feeling cold, shivering, nausea, rapid heart beat, chest pain, muscle stiffness, uneasiness to breathe and anything else not fun. What causes anxiety varies from person to person really, but we can all agree that it is from something that triggers stress and tension. Sometimes that tension is so hard on you and you feel like shrinking and everything becomes humongous monsters and you need to get away, you have no control over your emotion, over your body, over the situation. It feels horrible because you know that deep down you don't want to feel that way and that you should not feel that way, but in a way your body just won't stop showing the symptoms, pouring out endorphin which makes your heart beat race and all. For some people, they also may get panic attacks. None of those feelings are pleasant.

If you're someone coping with anxiety and now searching ways to handle it or even stop it, congratulations! you might almost be over with it, hopefully :) and trust me you're doing the right thing! Anxiety is something psychological which is controlled by your own mind and feelings. Things that you can do to handle it, is to see a healthcare professional/ a therapist or you can also try to give therapy to yourself. How?

1. Know what it is that makes you feel anxious.
2. Calm yourself down, try taking deep and breathe slowly, just take your time.
3. Tell yourself that you are going to be okay, nothing is going to hurt you, and that you'll eventually get over the anxiety.
4. Try focusing on other things than the anxiety itself, at least try.
5. Work out more, swim, jog, dance, whatever (could be a way to let out that energy and use those endorphin for the better)
6. If you have a problem which causes you the anxiety that you're feeling, try to deal with it, face it, change it so it won't bother you. (All you need is a just a drop of courage).
7. If you can't change it, then at least you can talk to a family member, shrink, a friend or someone you trust.
8. Write a diary (It is in fact a healthy outlet and you can also examine yourself)
9. If you're religious, try talking and praying to God. You're in good hands, you'll be okay.
10. Keep your friends and family close, do things that make you happy, and honestly live while you live hon!

At the end of the day you will realize that anxiety is just a feeling. A feeling that can be controlled by the mind. All you have to do is just try to find your center, get a grip, breathe and stay as calm as you possibly can, and face it, you'll be okay :)
