Wait, it's been 5 years?

To this day I can't believe that I'm still religiously writing this blog lol. Oh, by the way this is just going to be something random. To be honest, I started this blog just to have fun, I wanna learn how to blog, as you know... I'm pretty much, always curious about how things work. And somewhat I enjoy writing, not necessarily anything poetry, just work my fingers above the keyboard really. So, I just scrolled to my oldest post and it was in 2010! Like, what? Has it been five years already? Even I'm amazed. So I guess I've turned this blog into a reviewing blog slash personal diary. As random as it sounds, to be honest I'd like to thank my younger self. Why you should never, EVER consider buying dupes or fake perfumes

If you're a perfume junkie like I am, curiosity becomes your frenemy. Sure it’s fun smelling all there is out there and be surprised with all the possibilities of smell perfume offers you. But sometimes you just got too caught up with the reviews and well, you either buy blind them or get their cheap dupes or fakes! I've been there to be honest and I am not proud! Only a few times after I buy them, but as long as I can remember I’ve let them sit on my vanity for as long as they can. Why don’t I just wear them? Good question! 1. They don’t last, 2. They don't smell like the original (of course they don’t), 3. It never feels the same like wearing the original ones, 4...

Curious by Britney Spears Review

Image
This perfume became a hit since its release in 2004. Aside of it being by Britney Spears' , I have to say that as a celebrity this perfume, this fragrance doesn't disappoint. According to Fragantica: 'The composition is based on the notes of white flowers surrounded with vanilla and musk nuances. It opens with fresh lotus, mouthwatering pear and magnolia. The intensive floral heart is composed of tuberose, jasmine and pink cyclamen. The sensual base is composed of musk, vanilla and precious woods' Curious is a girly, fruity-sweet, fun, fresh, clean, happy and a young smelling scent. It has a fruity-floral sweetness (no citrus) to it which is quite nice and throughout wearing it, it's not cloying. To my nose, the noticeable notes are jasmine and pear. And as it tones down the vanilla, musk and woody notes starts to settle in. As far as I can say, it's got this 'typical celebrity scent' (I don't know but I guess celebs are into sweet scents), ...
